HIRE OF OUTFITS

How does the whole concept of hiring work?

1. All items hold a £50.00 hire fee

2. Refundable Deposit taken (at retail price of outfit)

3. Deposit refunded on return of outfit

How do the blouses for hire work?

We have a selection of blouses to match all sarees from silver, gold and black sequin to black velvet with stone work. All these blouses come in sizes small, medium, large and extra large along with various styles ranging from capped sleeves, spaghetti straps and halter neck. We do also find that many clients already have their own generic blouses they can wear with our range of sarees. Do let us know during time of hire.

How long can I hire the outfit for?

The hire period is from the date which the outfit is received by the customer and you have the outfit for 7 days. The outfit must be returned to us no later than 7 days from the date in which the outfit is received.

Can I ask for style advice or ask questions about specific outfits before I order?

Yes of course, if you need some help choosing the perfect outfit for you or just want advice on colours and sizes just give us a call or email us on info@inspiration-couture.com. A member of our customer care team will be happy to help!

Do you offer next day delivery?

Yes however this is subject to availability.

What if I accidentally stain or damage the dress?

Fear not, we understand that accidents can happen which are beyond your control. If you damage the dress the first thing you should do is to inform us by sending an e-mail to info@inspiration-couture.com . We reserve the right to handle each incident on a per case basis. Our dry cleaner and seamstress can take care of most minor damage. Any damage will be looked into before informing you of any required next steps or payments required. We have the right to charge for any damage that causes the outfits to become un hireable.

What if the outfit I borrowed doesn’t fit?

Simply contact us as soon as you receive the item. We will either send out another outfit or process a full credit to be used towards a future purchase. In order to qualify, the return package must be postmarked within 24 hours of your initial receipt, and the item must be unworn, unaltered, undamaged and unwashed. To return the item, simply return them back to us using the free return envelope provided via your local Post Office.

What are some advantages to borrowing instead of buying?

There are lots of advantages. Here are just a few:

  3. It’s an easy and convenient way to shop, and hassle free.
  4. Get style advice and the option to BUY if you like the outfit so much!

PURCHASE OF OUTFITS

  1. Are your products held in stock?
    All products displayed in on our "Express Delivery" category can be dispatched immediately and in many cases as a NEXT DAY delivery too. Please allow us 2-3 days for blouse stitching should this service be required. All  'in stock collection' are held in stock and can be despatched to you within 2-3 weeks. Our 'custom made' outfits are not held in stock and are produced on customer request. Delivery times for these are between 4-8 weeks. All orders are shipped by first class UK/International Speed Couriers. Shipping and packaging to anywhere in the world is completely free, irrespective of number of items ordered.
    Note that we do NOT give Guarantees for Delivery Date (normally transit time is about 4 days) but we have no control over extenuating circumstances that may/may not delay delivery after we have shipped them.

  2. Is it possible to come and view your items at Inspiration Couture?
    We are an online shop and all our items can be viewed online. We do taking viewings by appointment only at our boutique in the heart of Pottersbar. This enables us to provide you with most competitive prices. However, if you have any queries regarding any products please do not hesitate to contact us at info@inspiration-couture.com

  3. How do I know which size fits me?
    Our stocked items include the exact sizes in the description. All men's kurta's & sherwani's come in ready made chest sizes including the stole (dupatta) as do ladies suits. All custom made outfits are made as per your individual custom measurements. After placing an order, please provide size details in inches via our measurement form we send out automatically.


  4. Do your Saree blouses come as readymade?
    Blouses from our 'in stock collection' come as unstitched unless stated otherwise. Stitched blouses can be provided free of cost. For custom made outfits you can request the blouse to be stitched or unstitched.


  5. Can I have my lehenga choli with full sleeves if it is shown as half sleeves?
    We cannot ask our supplier to give you full sleeves if it comes with half. However, if you wish to have a half sleeve choli made sleeveless, we can accommodate that request.  Please note that the standard length on the choli will be 15 inches.


  6. Can I make small changes?
    Most changes are accommodated on request completely free of charge on custom made outfits only, although this will depend on how quickly you let us know. However, in cases where the change(s) results in considerable extra cost, we may charge a minimal fee, so please check before ordering.

  7. Can I order a different colour?
    We’re more than happy with colour changes on custom made outfits only and this is usually without a charge. However, please check with us for availability of your chosen colour before ordering.

  8. Can I order an outfit from the Bollywood custom made gallery, but make small changes, like sleeveless instead of sleeves or longer blouse to cover my midriff etc. Is this possible?
    Of course. At Inspiration Couture all special requests are accommodated. Whilst most changes are free of charge, any considerable changes resulting in extra cost for us may cause a marginal change in price. Details of all changes/special instructions must be entered in our special instructions box during your order.

  9. Am I getting original Bollywood outfits?
    No. All Bollywood outfits are only inspired by those worn by Bollywood stars. You will be made an outfit that is inspired by the style/design chosen, but please be aware that your outfit will have differences due to it being handmade. (No two pieces of any hand worked outfit can ever be exactly the same as each design is unique in making).
    Note: Many of the original Bollywood movie outfits are made for single use with cheap poly-mix fabrics. These fabrics have a glistening finish that appear great on screen but is actually quite shoddy otherwise. All our Bollywood Inspired outfits are made from lush fabrics such as pure silk, satin etc, so you are in fact receiving an outfit made at a much higher quality.

  10. I am a Bollywood fan and want to order outfits worn on screen by some actresses. If I specify an outfit from a film, can you make one for me exactly like it?
    Absolutely! This is our speciality. Please email us your request with details and ideally pictures of your chosen outfit.

  11. Special occasion order?
    At Inspiration Couture, we’re more than happy to reproduce one of your designs. Please contact us with pictures and/or details for a customised order.

  12. My outfit is not the exact shade of cream as the outfit submitted
    At Inspiration Couture, whilst we endeavour to design the outfit to your exact requirements, colour shades may vary depending on lighting differences, individual photographer styles, film development differences, scanner differences and individual PC monitor colour settings.

  13. Can you send me more pictures of your products?
    Our company policy refrains us from sending pictures to customers. All details and pictures are already available online in our gallery. Should you have any questions about the products, please do not hesitate to email us at info@inspiration-couture.com

  14. Can you help me pick a bridal dress at short notice?
    Of course. If you email us with three preferences, our design team will help you select the right dress for your forthcoming wedding.

  15. How do I take my measurements?
    Using a measuring tape, hold tape close to body (not too tightly, and not too loosely), and take measurements. It’ll be easier if you ask someone to take it for you. Refrain from making any allowances, as they will be made on your behalf by our design team.

  16. How do I submit my measurements?
    Simple! Once your online order is processed, you will be emailed with a measurement form. This caters specifically for saris, lenghas and suits. Should we need further measurements, our production team will contact you.

  17. How do I clean my outfit?
    Our outfits are made with opulent fabrics and therefore, all outfits are DRY CLEAN ONLY.

  18. How do I care for my outfits?
    Naturally air dry garment for few hours after each wear. Avoid direct spray of perfume, rain water, exposure to heavy moisture.

  19. Are you a UK based company?
    Yes. Inspiration Couture is a UK based company and you are dealing with staff in our UK Head Office.

  20. Can I return a product if I am not happy with it?
    At Inspiration Couture we endeavour to satisfy you, the customer. We want you to be pleased every time you shop with us. If you are not happy with your outfit for whatever reason you can simply return the outfit for a full refund within 3 days of receipt. Please note made to order items are non refundable. This is because made to order items are custom made, as per your measurements and requirements.


  21. Are my credit card details secure?
    Shop with confidence, shopping on line with us is safe and secure.  Your credit card information is stored securely by our Authorised Payment Processor Paypal.


  22. Can I place an order by phone or fax?
    All orders are processed on our website. We do not accept orders over the telephone or by fax.


  23. What is your privacy policy?
    At Inspiration Couture we are committed to protecting your personal details. We do not pass on, sell, trade or rent your personal information to other companies other than the information which is required to fulfil the delivery of your order. We comply with the standards, procedures and requirements laid down in the UK Data Protection Act.


  24. Are there any additional costs?
    Inspiration Couture has no hidden charges for worldwide deliveries.
